Jharkhand Cabinet Cancels JSSC-CGL Results, Orders Probe Into Exams Since 2014
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday said the state Cabinet has decided to cancel the results of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission–Combined Graduate Level (JSSC-CGL) examination and all examinations conducted by testing agency TDPL, in an attempt to end a prolonged deadlock between the government and protesting students.

Soren also ordered a probe into examinations conducted by the state government since 2014, signalling a wider review of the recruitment examination system.
The Chief Minister said ongoing investigations had brought to light “shocking” facts and indicated the possibility of a larger network involving companies associated with the conduct of examinations.

Earlier on Monday, alliance partner Congress had urged the Chief Minister to engage with the protesting students and address their concerns.
